Working at GLAAD has allowed me to contribute to meaningful change, especially during key moments like the 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards. I was deeply involved in crafting press releases, blog posts, and official statements that celebrated the incredible nominees from both our New York City and Los Angeles events. It was a privilege to help shine a spotlight on the diverse stories and representations that truly matter to the LGBTQ community.

Beyond the awards, I also played a significant role in the launch of GLAAD’s new Neon Digital Initiative. I developed compelling copy to introduce Neon to the world, emphasizing its core mission: to amplify the voices of LGBTQ+ individuals from communities of color. This initiative is particularly close to my heart, as I believe in the power of showcasing these vital perspectives. Every piece of content I created for the initiative was designed to highlight GLAAD's unwavering commitment to fostering inclusivity and ensuring that all LGBTQ+ voices are heard and celebrated.
